Hi all you Soupies, I have been SO busy, I haven't had a moment to catch up with you all recently. As you know our launch was a huge success. So many people came to see me, I was overwhelmed, they of course stayed to hear the story, enjoy the wonderful hospitality of our hosts, Stroud Brewery, and of course buy lots and lots of books, Ross, Pip and I were quite exhausted signing all those copies. If you want to take a look at all the fun follow the link to our film, YES there was community TV, Oh my word how will I cope with the adoration? Over the summer we have been out and about spreading the word about SOUP, we were at the Refugee Festival in Bristol, a fantastic day, so much music and dancing, I was in my element. We were also to be found at the Stroud Fringe Festival. Ross and the team told so many people about our story, I doubt that now I will be able to walk down Stroud High Street without wearing a disguise. (Perhaps Hippo will lend me her tutu … what’s that Hippo, you worry it might be a bit tight on me? Poor deluded creature!) Anyway the really exciting news is that next week we are in London - Crocodile is beside himself, he has never been to the capital before, but he is not very good in crowds, he just gets so nervous. We suggested he tried smiling at people but that just seems to have a very bad effect on them and then he gets scared! Anyway we will be in Covent Garden on Tuesday night, with, or without, Crocodile! Then, dear friends, we have another festival, we are SO of the moment! Clare will be telling our story, and some others, at the Stroud Theatre Festival. I know you are all wondering about Henry, because he does come into the story nearly as much as me. Well he has had a hugely busy summer and is preparing to set off on his travels, such an adventurous person, I would of course have liked to join him but my publicists felt I needed to stay by the phone!
